Graphic Design: PNG Basics

Ready to learn some of the basics of working with PNG designs? The tutorials on this page will get you going for sure! PNG designs are very easy to use and you can use them for all kinds of fun projects!

You can use PNG graphics on a transparent background as digital stickers on your photos or in your other design projects, you can print out png designs, use them on compatible electronic cutting machines, and even use them for ink transfer or sublimation crafting projects!  They have a pretty wide range of abilities!

I created the photo above using a pic from Adobe Stock, and some glitter PNG overlay graphics. You can watch my complete video walkthrough here, it's only a few minutes long, and really easy to follow! So simple to do!

Peruse my collection of tutorials below for some more fun ways you can create and use PNG graphics! If you'd like some FREE designs you can play around with, be sure to check out DesignBundles.net's FREE resource library here. I also offer freebies around my website as well. My main Digital Library page is where you can always find my latest freebie (just click the "Digital" tab in my top menu bar from any page on my site), but you might be able to find some more around my site as well. 😉😘

I use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, as well as several other apps from Creative Cloud for most of my designing. You can sign up for a monthly or annual subscription to use their apps on their website here. (They have several different options -- including STUDENT plans!) :)

If you really want to get started but don't have it in the budget -- check out Inkscape (Inkscape.org) for your vector designs (SVG, EPS) and Canva.com or Ribbet.com to work with PNG clipart.
