The Scrap Room first opened on June 1, 2010 in a small art studio in Port Townsend, Washington, as an excuse to turn a hobby into a "job". It really is true what they say: "you'll never work another day if you love your job", and I love my job! We relocated in 2012 and are now nestled in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, quite possibly one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest.
All of our custom items are handmade with only the best materials to ensure that these cherished keepsakes will last for years to come. Each scrapbook is created with special care and tailored to meet your picture and style preferences. We go above and beyond to make sure that each individual page is a frame-worthy piece of art.
More of a Do-It-Yourself scrapper? Great! Visit our scrapbook workshop page or join our Scrapbook Workshop group on Facebook for tips, tutorials, and sample layouts.
Our Craft Ideas page is a great place to find a variety of fun, unique craft projects created by our bloggers Lindsay and Leslie. It's updated regularly, so check back often and don't hesitate to make suggestions if there is something you want to learn how to make! You'll also see Eric Moran from time to time on our tutorial page. He builds furniture and does other home projects, but you'll mostly see his work on our letterboxing pages. Together with Lindsay, they make up the "BuckleyBookworms" duo in the letterboxing community, hiking and exploring our world on a treasure hunt for little boxes containing hand carved stamps.
