Cutting Perfection in 3 Easy Steps
Why the Cricut Family
 is my absolute favorite!

If you're serious about crafting, an electronic cutting machine is an absolute MUST! If you have the money in your Craft Room budget for an electronic cutting machine, think about buying the Cricut Explore Air 2 or their newer machine, the Maker. I started with a Cricut Expression, but upgraded to a Cricut Air 2 when it came out and it was one of the very best additions to my craft room for sure!

I love it so much -- it's STILL my main cutting machine after all these years!

The nice thing about the newer machines is that you can cut out any SVG, not just designs on pre loaded cartridges. That means you can download cut files from designers online and cut them out right at home!

The Cricut Air 2 is easy to use and can cut out over 100 different material, and if that's not enough for your, their latest model the Maker, has ALLLLL the bells and whistles. They are my absolute favorites when it comes to personal cutting machines, as they just seem to do everything with a few simple clicks! In addition to cutting, writing, and scoring, the Maker does debossing and engraving, perforation, wavy cuts, foil transfer and more.

Since Cricut is compatible with your computer, tablet and smart phone you can work on your projects anywhere, and send designs right to it via a wireless Bluetooth connection. These machines cut out: paper, vellum, poster board, vinyl, iron-on transfers, Washi Tape, Craft foam, chipboard, aluminum cans (yes, I said Aluminum Cans!!!), felt, denim, burlap, canvas, leather, Balsa wood, magnetic sheets and even thin plastics (just to name a few!) so there are an infinite amount of fun things you can create!

Choose ready made designs and customize them yourself, or create your own images and designs.  Turn your doodles and drawings into professionally cut out embellishments for your scrapbooks, cards, decorations and other projects. You can learn more about working with SVG cut files on my tutorials page here.
