Feelin' Lucky

Here's a handmade card for St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) or any other occasion that calls for a little luck! You can even use this template with almost any themed paper for a simple handmade card in minutes!
Card - Feelin' Lucky
by: Leslie Berg
Tools and Materials:

-Blank 4.25"x5.5" card (or 8.5"x5.5" cardstock folded in half) with envelope

-Black cardstock measuring 3.5"x5"

-Holiday themed paper cut out 3"x4.5" I used paper from the DCWV Year Round stack

-Ribbon (approx. 12 inches)

-Cuttlebug (optional)

-Swiss Dots Cuttlebug
embossing folder
(optional)

-Adhesive
Begin with a blank card or card stock folded in half. I ran mine through my cuttlebug to add some dimensional polka dots. Next add a black piece of paper, leaving approximately 1/4 inch around the bottom and sides, and a half inch border on top.

Add your design on top, leaving a quarter inch of black paper showing around all edges. I used a cutout from a holiday themed paper pack here.

The last step is simple; cut a length of ribbon long enough to tie a knot on the front of your card, and secure the ends with glue dots or other adhesive to prevent it from coming untied.
